Josh started his round with a front 9 of 48 (+11). He came roaring back with a fantastic back 9 and a round of (-1) 34) with a birdie on 18 to take the Trophy by 1 stroke over Greg Taca.
Unfortunately, a picture was not taken of Josh at the end of the round and somehow this stock image found its way here. wink wink :-)

An obstruction is any artificial object except for integral objects and boundary objects.
Examples of obstructions:
You get free relief when the condition interferes with your lie, stance, or area of intended swing but not when it only interferes with your line of play. To take free relief, you first have to find the nearest point of complete relief, which is the spot on the course nearest to where your ball lies, but not nearer the hole, where you could play your next stroke with no interference from the condition, you’re taking relief from. Then drop a ball within one club-length of that point not nearer the hole.
Exceptions:
Interference from Boundary Objects
Q. I have interference from an out of bounds fence, stake or wall – what are my options?
A. You do not get free relief from objects that define or mark the course boundary. You may not move objects marking course boundaries or take free relief from them like you would from other artificial objects, like a cart path, a building, or a stake marking a penalty area. Your options are to play your ball as it lies, proceed under penalty of stroke and distance by playing again from the spot of your last stroke (see Rule 18.1), or decide your ball is unplayable (see Rule 19.1)
Relief from Immovable Obstruction When Ball in Penalty Area
Q. May I take relief from a bridge, sprinkler control box or other immovable artificial object when my ball is in a penalty area?
A. No. When your ball is in a penalty area, you do not get free relief from an immovable artificial object (see Rule 16.1a(2))
Please do your best to follow these rules so that you do not delay the groups behind you.
Foursomes matches will be expected to play in not more than a 4 hour and 6 minute pace for an 18-hole match.
Definition of "Out of Position"
A match is out of position when it takes more than the maximum allowable time to finish a hole and:
a) Reaches a par-3 that is clear of play and all players in the match ahead have played from the teeing area of the next hole.
b) Reaches a par-4 that becomes clear of play before any player plays a stroke from the teeing area.
c) Reaches a par-5 after any player in the match ahead has made a stroke on the putting green.
Note: If a ruling or some other legitimate delay occurs which causes the match in question to be out of position, that match is expected to regain its position within a reasonable time.

We play every other Sunday, except major holidays with Rancho Cordova Golf Couse as our home location. We also play at other local courses such as: Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney, Mather Field, and Bartley Cavanaugh.
